2016 AIRSTREAM JOURNEYS
Welcome | California | Oregon | Washington
From Washington we made our way over the Astoria Bridge into Oregon. We stayed in Tillamook for a few days. While there we drove to Cape Meares. We walked to the lighthouse but it was so foggy we couldn't see the ocean. Munson Creek Falls State Park is a few miles south of Tillamook. The trail follows a small creek up to some steps. The waterfall is 319 feet high. It is the tallest waterfall on the Oregon coast.
We enjoyed our drive to Cape Kiwanda where vehicles park on the beach. At Anderson Point there was a gorgeous beach view. Another day we took the train from Garibaldi to Rockaway Beach. The train tracks run along the ocean part of the way. There was a lot of beach activity at Rockaway Beach.
