We spent our last two weeks in Oregon at Coos Bay. Our RV park is located on Cape Arago Highway. At the end of the highway is a place to watch for whales. There are hundreds of seals and sea lions at Simpson's Reef.

Our friends, Allen and Pat joined us in Coos Bay for a few days. We had fun whale watching. We spent one day in Bandon, one of our favorite places. We also stopped at Bullards Beach State Park to see the Coquille River Lighthouse.

We enjoyed the Wednesday market in downtown Coos Bay, the Blackberry Arts and Crafts Festival, and Thai food at EZ Thai.

We drove to the small town of Coquille one evening. We saw the performance of "The Colossal Cranberry Caper, or Boondogled in the Bog", a melodrama at the Sawdust Theater. Of course the audience gets into it also, booing the villan, and cheering on the heroine. Lots of laughs, music and dancing.

The small fishing village of Charleston is a short drive from our RV park. We bought some fresh fish from Chuck's Seafood market and ate lunch at Fisherman's Grotto.
