In September, my childhood friend passed away. She left her house to me so John and I proceeded to fix it up to get it ready to sell. While the house was being painted we went to San Diego for a few days.

We thought the weather would be cool but the temps were in the 90's!! We went to the Zoo, the Birch Aquarium, Torrey Pines and Cabrillo National Monument. We met travel friends for dinner. We had met them on our China trip. It was fun catching up.

At the Birch Aquarium we were amazed by the Seadragons. We had never seen this creature...it looked like a plant. So interesting.
