We left our Airstream in Santa Fe and flew to California for Mom's 90th birthday. We had planned a big party with family and friends. Mom was overwhelmed by all the people who came to celebrate her birthday. On her actual birthday we took her to Strawberry Lake.

We flew back to Albuquerque and then drove home to Mesa, AZ so we could attend our granddaughter, Jennifer's graduation from Opthamalogy studies.

Then we drove back to New Mexico via Globe, Salt River Canyon and Springerville in Arizona. We spent a night at the historic El Rancho Hotel in Gallup where many movie stars stayed back in the day. Then off we went back to Santa Fe.

A few days later we went to Tent Rocks National Monument which is near Santa Fe. The area is a result of a volcanic eruption which spread Rhyolite lava which formed weird tee pee like formations with rock tops. We took a hike through the formations. There were a lot of wildflowers blooming around the rocks.
