We have been to the Balloon Fiesta several times and always enjoy the colorful balloons floating in the air.

On October 6th we said good bye to Santa Fe and headed south on I25. As we passed Albuquerque balloons were floating overhead

We headed west toward Socorro and Pie Town. We set up the Airstream in the Pie Town RV Park which only has 5 sites. Everything is on the honor system there.

We had green chile cheeseburges at the Pie Town Cafe. Of course we had to have pie! We each had a slice of New Mexican apple pie which is made with green chiles and pinon nuts. The tiny town is dedicated to pies. We took some pictures of the town and the next day headed home to Arizona.
